Important news from AB Condo Ownership Network! READ THIS and then SIGN AGAIN!

Hello everyone: Service Alberta is now phasing in Bill 9 condo Regulations - legislation that will directly affect all AB condo owners. Our many improvement ideas fit best in the Governance and Dispute Resolution categories and apparently Regulations for these two topics will be done in the months ahead. We want and need a pro-active and consistent voice in how the Regulations are written. We've been told we'll have opportunity to provide feedback later. OUR WORRY IS THIS: if we are given feedback opportunity AFTER the Regulations are written that could be ... too little, too late! Most of us know that by the time many government documents get released to the general public for their supposed input, terms are usually cast in concrete and there is little that will be changed or added. We want a pro-active and consistent voice as the Regulations that relate to our Governance and Dispute Resolution improvement ideas are written - not after the fact! Please help us help you by signing the updated petition and sharing it with your neighbours, family, friends and colleagues for their signature. One doesn't have to own a condo to want fair and equitable condo legislation.
