Condo Mgr. Licensing Project update - VERY TROUBLING CONCERNS

First, THANK YOU to everyone who has signed this petition and who have signed up at www.albertacondominiums.ca to receive our Alberta Condo Ownership Network newsletters. I just sent one out yesterday (Newsletter #35) updating members on what I really hope is progress with Service Alberta and what I am deeply concerned about in terms of how the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) is handling the proposed Condominium Manager Licensing Program. Rather than re-explain concerns here, please make sure you have a copy of Newsletter #35 as it spells out my concerns (which should also be your concerns!). RECA is holding town hall meetings in Calgary on Tuesday, December 1 and Red Deer on December 2 so if you can attend, PLEASE do so. The meeting details are in the newsletter. Keep spreading the word and writing those letters to the Premier, the NEW Minister of Service Alberta, Minister Danielle Larivee, Deputy Minister Tim Grant and Assistant Deputy Minister Colin Lloyd. They are the ONLY people who can change the course of the current Condo Act/Bill 9 so the new legislation is more inclusive, fair and balanced to condo owners than previous legislation.
