There are several talented athletes who compete in Breakaway Calf Roping. It's a sport that requires skill, precision and dedication. Yet despite their hard work and commitment to the sport, these athletes are not given the opportunity to compete at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR). This is a significant event where elite rodeo athletes showcase their skills and compete for prestigious titles. 

Breakaway calf roping is an exciting event that has gained popularity over recent years. According to the Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA), it's one of their fastest-growing events with increasing participation each year [source: WPRA]. Despite this growth and interest from fans, it remains excluded from NFR.

By including Breakaway Calf Roping in NFR, we would be recognizing and celebrating these talented athletes' hard work and dedication on a national stage. It would also promote diversity within rodeo sports by including more women-led events.

We urge the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association to consider our request seriously for inclusion of Breakaway Calf Roping in NFR - not just for my daughter but for all those who participate in this thrilling event.
