Include A Bible in Every Classroom in Every School District

The Issue

I am someone whose life has been positively transformed by the teachings of the Bible. It has been a source of moral guidance and values that have shaped my principles and the person I am today. I strongly believe that the Bible should be made available in every classroom to help others benefit in the same way.

As a student at Stockdale High School in the Kern High School District, I believe incorporating the Bible into every classrooms can enrich our educational experience. Exposure to diverse perspectives and influential texts like the Bible can broaden our understanding of morality, ethics and cultural heritage.

This initiative isn't about establishing a state religion but providing access to a foundational text shaping Western culture. Other US public schools have successfully done this without violating the Constitution or law (American Center for Law and Justice, 2012).

In light of this, we call upon every School District to include a Bible in every classroom. This initiative can promote compassion, understanding, and mutual respect, while offering students the opportunity to engage with the Bible's teachings in a non-coercive educational context.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
