As a contributor to Google Street View, I have put time and effort into uploading images to aid in broadening user experience. However, it has come to my attention that there is no credit provided for this voluntary contribution Tied to the Google Maps Local Guides Points system, my level remains unchanged despite significant input. Many contributors share this sentiment, with us all feeling undervalued and unrecognized. 

While Google currently rewards its Local Guides with points for contributions such as writing reviews, adding photos, and updating information (Google Local Guides Connect, 2021), those who contribute to Street View do not receive similar acknowledgment. This disparity is unjust and demoralizing for a community that actively contributes to expanding the usability of Google Maps.

All we ask is for equal and fair treatment. Therefore, we propose that Google Maps grant at least 200 points for each contribution made to Street View. This slight adjustment could have a profound impact on contributor morale and likely encourage more users to contribute, thereby enriching the quality of Google Street View.
