Update: I was notified that monetary donations are being made. The petition is FREE and just needs signatures no monetary donations need to be made to support this cause for Elyas. My Aunt does have a GoFundMe available to help with ongoing expenses for her and her two other children as she’s unable to work at this time. Thank you for your support ❤️. 

Hello, My name is Trenae Gayle and i’ve started this petition on behalf of my Aunt Ultra Marshall, in honor of her son Elyas Amyr Marshall Rodriguez who tragically was killed at only nine years old by his school bus in Orlando, FL on January 16, 2024. In awake of his passing, we are asking that all Public School Transportation Systems install dash cams for the drivers to see an outside, side and back view to prevent further tragedy’s from occurring. Elyas has not been the only child that has passed away from injuries sustained by a school bus and no parent should ever have to feel the indescribable pain of losing their child in any matter, especially going to and from school. We have seen cameras installed outside to catch drivers who don’t stop and are reported that ultimately causes them to receive a ticket in the mail. So having a dash cam in the bus for the safety of children shouldn’t be an issue.
