Pakistan Telecommunication Limited (PTCL) is a government Organization which was sold out to Etisalat in 2004. 24% shares was sold out and all the management affairs was given to Etisalat. However, Etisalat never paid the total amount of shares which was purchased by GOP. Etisalat keep these shares for 17 years, and never paid the amount to government of Pakistan. PTCL was in profit when they sold this organization to Etisalat, PTCL revenue was 39 billions a month. Now after 17 years, PTCL revenue is less than 1.49 billions. We demand government of Pakistan to take back these shares and make this a government Organization. Launch a new Sim named PTCL so that the revenue will be collected by govt. Jazz, warid, telenor, zong etc. These all GSM companies are taking our money to other countries, why don't we introduce our own SIM to generate billions of revenue? Also, take back the money from Etisalat which was promised and written in the contract. If I'm not wrong, it was 750 billion dollars to sold out PTCL in 3 installments, and Etisalat has given only 1 installment. After 1 installment, Etisalat get a stay from international court and never paid a pany to Pakistan. Its our money and we sould take it back.
