We request immediate action to improve traffic safety along Highway 97 between Penticton and Okanagan Falls.  This stretch of highway continues to experience a large number of collisions primarily at the intersection with Highway 3a and at the exits to Kaleden.

The increased traffic flow due to trucks and cars from the Lower Mainland being redirected onto Highway 3a has aggravated the situation.  IMMEDIATE ACTION is required to improve safety.
