Good news! We have more information on how to push this petition in the right direction thanks to an anonymous source. In the Olympic Game Farm's brochure (see attachment) it states they were given permission to use the Disney name & open their farm to the public in 1972, with the "mission to focus solely for caring for our animal actors, concentrating on offering "in need" captive bred animals a new loving home." This is far from the truth. It may be true that Disney approved of using their name because of the initial mission, but today, just by visiting the farm, it's clear these poor animals are not happy, (more photos & videos are on their way). They are fed bread by tourists, 8-9 hours a day, 7 days a week. Many animals are confined to smaller enclosures, aren't protected from the elements or given the enrichment needed causing signs of boredom & anxiety. It's quite apparent this farm is not a sanctuary, rather a for profit business exploiting animals that should be living the rest of their lives in legitimate sanctuaries that provide the proper care they all need. So let's take the next step & share this petition on social media tagging Disney Studios letting them know that the Beebe family, owners of Olympic Game Farm, are defaming the Disney name & to stop supporting their cruelty & neglect toward their animals!
