In the meat and dairy industries, animals are abused and treated unbelievably cruelly. Hens are kept in small cages, cows are kept in filthy conditions, and pigs are squeezed together so that there is no breathing room. On the way to the slaughterhouse, sometimes these animals go without food and water for days. Most animals will never get to see the outside and do normal animal things like eat grass.

This also affects global warming, as they are the cause of a lot of gas emissions and pollution.

I’m not suggesting we all become vegan. I'm suggesting that there is a more humane way to treat these animals. It is unfair that animals have to suffer so much before they get to our plate. Sign this petition, and maybe we can change that!
