Our family, like many others in Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines, has always held a deep love for animals. We treat them as family members and ensure they are well-fed and healthy. However, it is heartbreaking to see that not all animals receive this same level of care. Many dogs, cats, chickens and other domestic animals are neglected by their owners.

In the Philippines alone, there are thousands of cases reported each year involving animal cruelty or neglect (Philippine Animal Welfare Society). This does not even account for the numerous instances that go unreported. These animals suffer from malnutrition and lack proper medical attention which often leads to premature death.

We believe that every animal deserves a life filled with love and care. Therefore we urge our local government in Cabuyao to enforce stricter laws on animal welfare and provide better education on responsible pet ownership for its citizens.
