Legalising cannabis would ensure and encourage people who are medically ill due to smoking cannabis to go and seek medical help without fearing of being criminalised and fined. Cannabis helps treat many medical conditions and benefits the safety of your own body and if healthcare professionals were allowed to access it, not only would it help them it would also open up a door to more research on cannabis based treatments. We all have a right to our own personal freedom and individual rights, people should be able to choose how they manage their own bodies and lifestyles. If cannabis stays illegal and criminalised it will infringe our own rights and choices.
