A true rescue takes animals from neglected, abused, homeless or other poor conditions to IMPROVE, protect and provide a better environment for them while awaiting their forever home. Unleashed has been in operation for over 10 years. Danielle has had ample time to improve the buildings deplorable conditions, and yet we are still seeing signs of dangerous, dirty and disgusting conditions these animals are going to and being forced to deal with. Taking an animal from one bad environment to another is not OK, and we are asking for major CHANGE. How does one shelter PROFIT off of the misfortune of animals and charge $1500 for puppies and the executive director is claiming all funds are from donations only? Why are funds not being properly claimed when they have a contract with the city, charge adoption fees ($500-1500) yet they are all claimed as "donations"? How do you have 2.5 million dollars and have roaches INFESTING bedding, food, cages, etc? And have for YEARS! How is this better than where they came from? 

By signing this petition, you are asking Unleashed to replace its executive director, and it's board to resign, to have the city enforce building codes, the KSA to do indepth investigations and to shed light on this "NON for profit" profiting off of animals. 

The building is falling apart. 

The environment is NOT safe for animals. 

The infestation of roaches not only  Poses a health risk to the animals but also the volunteers and staff.

The overcrowding has to stop. Dogs only being let out once a day is neglect. The executive director is the ROOT of the issue. Danielle has had 10 years, and millions of dollars to make sure Unleashed is safe and pass inspection. It has continued to have unsatisfactory inspections.
