As a daily visitor to the Rob Akers Dog Park, I have experienced firsthand the muddy and dirty conditions that plague our beloved park. Every day, my dog and his friends Dougal, Chia and Albert are forced to play in mud-filled puddles. The frequent rain hardly allows these puddles to dry up before they're filled again. This not only ruins our dogs' fun but also necessitates a bath for them every single day - an ordeal neither dog nor owner enjoys.

Furthermore, the presence of mosquitoes and other biting insects is a constant nuisance. The need to drench ourselves in bug spray just to visit the park is far from ideal. The itching from mosquito bites often keeps me awake at night.

The Rob Akers Dog Park is more than just a place for dogs; it's a community hub where we socialise with fellow owners while our pets enjoy their playtime. However, these poor conditions are making it increasingly difficult for us to enjoy this space.
