A new update that is not as promising as my original post.  From the MTO this afternoon.  How does all this miscommunication happen?

Through the course of the day, I have realized that there was a miscommunication and some information got mixed up and wanted to clarify the Hwy 534 project.
 
The ministry is in discussions with the contractor to make sure the roadway is in satisfactory condition before it is considered complete and winter sets in.  This includes repairs to areas that have been identified as not performing.  As noted earlier, any additional work completed to repair is weather dependant.
 
Please note that this section of roadway is not going to be receiving micro surfacing at this time.
