We are the residents of New Boston and Huron Charter Township who rely on Clark and South Huron Roads for our daily commute to work, school, and other essential activities. Unfortunately, these roads are in poor condition, and their deteriorating state is causing significant problems for our community.

Our family has experienced this firsthand, having had our car break down twice due to a strut breaking—an issue largely caused by the rough conditions of these roads. This is not an isolated incident. Like many others, we face ongoing repairs and increased maintenance costs, which only add to the financial strain of living in an area with poorly maintained.

We are calling on our local government officials in New Boston, Huron Charter Township, and the Wayne County Road Commission to prioritize the paving of Clark and South Huron Roads. Paving these roads will not only improve safety for residents but also reduce the financial strain caused by frequent repairs and vehicle maintenance. By investing in this necessary infrastructure, the community will benefit from safer, more efficient travel.
