I am a father from Scotland, separated from my child who now lives in England with her mother. Despite being a willing and capable parent, I am denied any right to see my daughter. This is not just my story; it's the story of many fathers across the UK who are unjustly kept away from their children.

In 2019, over 4 million children in the UK lived in single-parent households (source: Office for National Statistics), and many of these families face similar issues. Current laws often favor mothers when it comes to child custody battles, leaving fathers like me feeling powerless and disconnected from our children's lives.

We need legislation that recognizes the importance of both parents in a child's life. We need laws that ensure fair access rights for fathers who are willing and able to contribute positively to their children's upbringing.
