The Issue

The One Piece Card Game community has grown tremendously, and demand for Regionals, BCG Fest, and other major events now far exceeds the number of available spots.

As a result, many events sell out within minutes, or even seconds. Players who are online the moment registration opens can still miss out because of website congestion, checkout speed, payment processing, or simple luck.

This has become a recurring issue across multiple major events. We believe there is a fairer way to allocate these highly sought-after tournament spots.

Bandai has already used random selection for certain One Piece Card Game events. We respectfully ask that Bandai consider expanding this approach to high-demand competitive events such as Regionals and BCG Fest.

Proposed Registration Process:

Open registration for 7–14 days.
Allow one registration per verified BANDAI TCG+ account.
Select participants at random after registration closes.
Give selected players 72 hours to purchase their ticket.
Automatically offer unpaid or canceled spots to players on the waitlist.
Display each player’s current waitlist position to improve transparency and help players make informed travel decisions.
This system would not guarantee everyone a seat, but it would ensure that every player has an equal opportunity to obtain one.

Benefits:

Equal opportunity for every player.
Less dependence on internet speed, checkout timing, and website performance.
Reduced registration-day server congestion.
A more transparent and less stressful registration experience.

If you believe these changes would improve Organized Play for the One Piece Card Game community, please sign this petition and share it with other players.
