During the rainy season, floods become prevalent. It increases the risks of having water borne diseases and slows down transportation, thus decreasing work efficiency and disturbing people’s daily activities. Over the past few years, Quezon City Science High School experiences the same thing despite the area surrounding it not being flood prone. According to our observations, because of it, the school has become a desirable breeding place for mosquitoes that may bring dengue, and it is already shown in the increasing number of victims. We have theorized that it is due to the school’s substandard drainage and sewage system.
