Improve Public Facilities and Safeguard Shivpuri from Corruption Hell

The Issue

I reside in Shivpuri, a city brimming with potential yet suffering from various infrastructural and systemic problems. The situation can be nerve-wracking for any resident, feeling unsafe while navigating through their own city, even in broad daylight. Shivpuri, like many other cities in our country, is adversely affected by corrupt practices and a lack of development. I express deep concern for the road leading to our stadium through Do Batti Chauraha, a path where not even a single streetlight illuminates the night.

Inadequate or non-functioning streetlights across most areas in the city impede safety and security for all of us. Poorly maintained walkways, a lack of a comprehensive water drainage system, dilapidated overbridges, and congested roads are additional issues plaguing our city. Our city's urban decay is hastened by slow development and prevalent corruption, further compromising safety, especially for those travelling alone. I even saw most of the streetlights were either dim or only near the place where Important people lived, like Government Employees. As Provided in the Photo, You can even see the streetlight is only facing towards the house of Government employees which doesnt help the public anyhow.

However, it's not all gloom and doom. Together, we can turn things around for Shivpuri. It's high time we aim for revamped public utilities, a stringent stand against corruption and an environment promoting safety, not fear. With improved facilities and systems in place, not only will we foster a safer community but also attract visitors, thus promoting tourism.

We can do better, we deserve better. Let us step up and demand systematic change for Shivpuri. I urge you, the responsible citizens of Shivpuri, to sign this petition. Call on our local government to take this issue of public safety and development seriously. Together, we can make Shivpuri a vibrant, safe, and progressive city we are all proud to call our home. Please, sign our petition.
