Improve Philippine Emergency Hotlines

Improve Philippine Emergency Hotlines
The Issue
As of the moment, the Philippines has no active emergency hotlines. Although according to gov.ph, the official website of the Philippine government, the national emergency hotline is 911 yet there are still several different trunk lines to call depending on the situation.
When talking about health emergencies, many people die on the way or right before they arrive at the hospital because of ambulance delays considering the traffic situation and late response by the hospitals' ambulances.
The government should do something. And that is to make a universal, free and available nationwide hotline for Filipinos to call 24/7.
With the number of various trunk hotlines, it is difficult for a person to call immediately especially when s/he has no internet connection or network service. It must be free because not all the time the user has a load or has a postpaid sim. Available nationwide, because the existing emergency hotline, 117, only operates in Metro Manila.
With this being approved, it will help save millions of lives across the country making Filipinos feel safe in times of need.
Everyone deserves the right to proper and immediate healthcare. Be involved and make a stand today.
