We, the undersigned, strongly urge the Tennessee Department of Transportation to take immediate action to improve safety at the intersection of Highway 321 and South Highway 340. This intersection has been the site of numerous severe wrecks, including multiple fatalities, causing immeasurable loss to families and placing a heavy emotional and physical burden on local first responders. We request the installation of flashing lights on the stop signs, flashing intersection warning signs, dangerous-intersection signage, and rumble strips to help slow approaching traffic and prevent future tragedies. Immediate improvements are essential to protect our community and save lives.
