Statistically, intersections like this one, which lack proper traffic control measures, are prone to higher rates of accidents. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, intersections are one of the most common sites for traffic incidents, accounting for nearly 40% of all road accidents annually. With Marmion Avenue being a major thoroughfare, these statistics are a stark reality for our local community.

A viable solution to mitigate these issues is the installation of traffic lights at the intersection.
