I am asking Los Angeles Southwest College to improve its financial aid services so students can receive timely answers, clear information, and the support they need to continue their education.

Financial aid is important because many students depend on it to pay for college expenses. When students experience delays or receive unclear answers about their financial aid, it can cause stress and make it harder for them to focus on their classes. Students should not have to repeatedly contact the financial aid office without understanding what is happening with their accounts.

I am asking LASC to improve communication with students, provide clear explanations about financial aid holds and delays, and offer more timely assistance when students need help. The college should also make sure students know what steps they need to take to resolve problems.

Every student deserves a fair opportunity to succeed in college. Improving financial aid support would help students feel heard, supported, and confident about continuing their education.
