N. H.NC, United States

Good afternoon Director,

I appreciate your empathy, email is the most reliable way to reach me.

[BLUF] Even after fighting for this Great Country, I am now faced with multiple failed attempts at adequate Mental Health C&P examinations, ten since inception of my initial claim. Fifteen months after separation with an Honorable Discharge I was devastatingly misdiagnosed with a personality disorder, recommended medication, and abandoned by my clinical staff. Immediately I took to Deuterman Law Group, who within months, and multiple failed HLR attempts dropped me as a client since I did not want to pursue a claim for a personality disorder that I never had, have, or will develop. Following failures to properly adjudicate my entire claims package with timeliness and accuracy has me attending scheduled exams, unscheduled exams, follow-up exams, clarification exams, current symptomatology exams, HLR exams, and no-show Doctor exams. After being evicted from my apartment and car repossessed, I utilized FNS and food banks in times I could not feed myself. All while working in short term/ flexible jobs. Then after those were no longer available to me I secluded inside my house, avoiding friends and family completely. I respectfully request proper adjudication for my original Mental Health Disability Claim. I do not believe there is any additional information the VA could possibly need from me to do their jobs responsibly. I believe it would be a waste of government funds to continue providing baseless-counter-arguments through endless examinations. Even today I received a decision letter for my original Mental Health claim that was frivolously denied!

I called upon the Columbia, SC Regional Office and spoke with Marlon Hinds after researching the VEAC event held March 19-21, 2026. He did not provide help or information over telephone or email prior to. But my girlfriend of two years drove us six hours there and back, two out of three of those days. We ensured I was the first person there, before volunteers, VA employees, Associated Programs, and C&P examiners. Waiting up to three hours before they opened to be seen/heard/helped, culminating in no more than a 5 minute conversation with Mr. Hinds stating, "there is nothing we can do for you".

I excelled in Communications throughout my enlistment. I participated in unit, town, and online volunteering opportunities. Maintained and trained thousands of Marines, Sailors, and Contractors. Received multiple great Annual Reports, attended Palomar College in person and University of Phoenix online. Rented apartments, bought cars, completed mud runs/ marathons, gone fishing, attended rodeo's, and made many friends.

1st Deployment: As an E-4 holding a E-6 billet, the Chain of Command CoC designated me to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force "Operation Native Fury 18". Conducting a bilateral military exercise with the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, where our Comms Teams focused on crisis response, rapid force deployment, and Maritime Prepositioning Force operations.

2nd Deployment: As an E-4 holding a E-5 billet, the CoC requested me to serve aboard the USNS Stockham for Joint Task Force "KOA MOANA". Alongside at the time E-6 Garza, E-5 Badura, E-5 Johnson, E-5 Budrow, E-5 Mercado, and E-5 Watkins. While at sea, the sole Data Systems Specialist, managed hundreds of Marines and Sailors Unclassified and Classified gear and data. Assisted in training, rebuilding, and engagement with Community Officials on multiple islands'. Later accepted promotion and re-enlisted across the "water elevator" Panama Canal.

Drill Instructor School MCIEast: I did not graduate alongside my peers. Returning to Camp Pendleton CA.

3rd Deployment: Oorah! As an E-5 holding a E-6 billet, the CoC requested me to serve at NSA 2 Bahrain. I was received during covid-19 by E-5 Tillman, after being introduced to the rest of my unit, O-3 Chan and E-8 Fothergill. Later joining CWO-3 Sterling, E-6 Haywood, E-6 Nunez, E-6 Linhares, and E-6 Bracamontes. During these 2 years overseas my unit/mission would change, thus the number of Marines, Sailors, Local and US Contractors, and weight of duty grew.
- I would be faced with daily verbal abuse, physical altercations, and exposed to a chronically dysfunctional and toxic work culture.
Further details are documented on "Statement In Support Of Claim For Service Connection For Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Secondary To Personal Assault" VA Form 21-0781a, submitted within Initial Claim dated Sep 28, 2023.
- Aug 26, 2021 there was an attack in Kabul, Afghanistan. Resulting in the injuries and deaths of brave warriors from Task Force 51-5 as well as many more, some I considered close friends. Upon completion of the evacuation efforts, marked the end of the Global War on Terrorism (as marked by the ribbon's retirement Sep 22, 2022).
Further details are documented and commemorated by the President on the 4th Anniversary. (whitehouse.gov) https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/08/fourth-anniversary-of-the-attack-at-abbey-gate-2025/
-Geopolitical News aside Tillman signed and I submitted "Lay/Witness Statement" VA Form 21-10210 on Nov 17, 2024. Then "Lay/Witness Statement" of my own dated Feb 20, 2025. Again "Independent Mental Health Evaluation" from Jennifer P. Becker, LCMHCS dated April 2, 2026, submitted April 4, 2026.

Commanding Base General and Secretary of Staff (Aid and Assistance): As an E-5 holding a E-6 billet, the CoC requested me to serve at Camp Lejeune, NC. There I attempted to receive adequate medical care. Leaving me with cancelled appointments for: 2 Mental Health Counseling, Optometry, Acid Reflux, Headaches, Asthma, Bilateral Ankle Pain, and Dermatology (red bumps when showering). I responded by filing a formal ICE Complaint under the Mainside Branch Clinic on the receptionist Krystal, for cancelling all of the above appointments In July 2023.

Decorated In: Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal (2), National Defence Service Medal, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Expert Rifle Qualification Badge (3)

Gainful Employment and Living Condition: Thanks to the variety of my combined experience and education I was able to turn down multiple $100,000 salaried opportunities for new career in Building and Systems Engineering with UPS Mebane, NC annual salary $64,480 Mebane, NC Sep 25, 2023 - June 28, 2024. My sister lent me a spare bedroom in her apartment Charlotte, NC until signing my apartment lease in Mebane, NC. Driving a new car purchased near Wilmington, NC. In constant pain and repeated trauma, but doing my best to live on.

Additionally misdiagnosis and inadequate support has left me battling on every front; social, economic, professional, and personal. To combat current and future warriors from fighting a needless battle. I created a Petition on May 18th. Advocating for improved mental health services and benefits for veterans before they become forgotten and history rewritten.

Thank you for taking the time to hear me out, I am willing to do whatever it takes by whatever means necessary to return as much of my life as possible back to me. I urge you to consider the total suffering I have endured to get a single Mental Health claim properly adjudicated.
