Having driven my 2011 Nissan Leaf for years, I've come to rely heavily on the availability of DC Fast Charging Chademo chargers. Unfortunately, the state of these charging stations in Pasadena is dismal. The lack of maintenance, frequent breakdowns, and insufficient number of stations are significant hurdles for electric vehicle (EV) owners like myself.

Pasadena has long been a leader in promoting sustainable transportation, yet our charging infrastructure tells a different story. It's frustrating to arrive at a charging station only to find it out of service or occupied for extended periods due to the limited options available.

Electric vehicles are crucial for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality in our city. However, without a reliable network of charging stations, the transition to cleaner transportation becomes challenging and discouraging for current and prospective EV owners.

City officials have the power to change this narrative. By allocating budget for the repair and expansion of DC Fast Charging stations, Pasadena can enhance its reputation as a forward-thinking city prioritizing environmental sustainability.

Let's urge our city leaders to take immediate action. By investing in our EV charging infrastructure, we can support a greener future for Pasadena. Sign this petition to demand that city officials address and rectify the poor state of DC Fast Charging stations in our community.
