Today, the city of Springfield, Illinois reported that power is restored to all residents.  Tree limbs continue to be an issue in several neighborhoods where older trees line the streets and alley areas.  The city is now looking for a Director of Emergency Management. Now more than ever, all of us can band together and ask that we improve the power grid here, emergency services for residents and communication channels during natural disasters.  Please consider passing the petition on to others so that we can drive change together for a safer Springfield.
