My family has eagerly anticipated visiting the Cleveland Park Pool this summer, only to encounter the frequent disappointment of finding it closed. On numerous occasions, the closure was due to a malfunctioning pump or the absence of necessary chemicals. It's incredibly frustrating to have a neighborhood resource that is meant to be a hub for recreation and community bonding, but remains inconsistently accessible. The lifeguards and staff share in this frustration, as they are equally hindered by these ongoing challenges.

The Cleveland Park Pool, a unique part of our neighborhood in Nashville, requires immediate attention and improvements. The facility urgently needs a new pump to ensure operational consistency. Through timely maintenance, including regular supplies of the correct chemicals for water safety, we can prevent unexpected closures that have marred the pool’s reliability.

Additionally, the bath house demands significant upgrades and cleaning to enhance user experience and comfort. Ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment is vital for attracting diverse community members and fostering safe social interactions.

Furthermore, extending the pool hours and ensuring it remains open longer during the summer will significantly benefit residents.
