I have been a resident of Woodbridge for over eight years, witnessing firsthand the deteriorating condition of the road between Peterhouse Crescent and our local green space. The current state of this road poses significant safety risks to residents, particularly children traveling to school. It is high time we address this issue urgently.

According to data from UK's Department for Transport, poorly maintained roads contribute significantly to accidents each year. The narrowness of our road only exacerbates these risks, making it difficult for vehicles to pass safely especially during peak hours when children are going or returning from school.

In addition to safety concerns, improving this road will also enhance accessibility within our community. A wider and safer road will facilitate smoother traffic flow, reducing congestion during peak hours.
