We, the undersigned residents and taxpayers of Weston, FL, are coming together to express our concerns regarding the management and availability of public sports facilities in our city. We believe that every resident should have fair access to these essential amenities, and we urge the City of Weston to address the following issues:

1. Limited Availability of Courts: Many Weston residents are unable to access public sports facilities due to limited court availability. This restriction affects our ability to engage in healthy and active lifestyles, which is essential for our community's well-being.
2. Support for Private Academies: While we understand and appreciate the role of private sports academies, we believe that their presence should not come at the expense of local residents. We are not opposed to private academies having fixed spots; however, we call for the City of Weston to improve its management of public sports facilities to ensure adequate availability for all residents and taxpayers.
3. Lack of Communication: There has been a notable lack of communication regarding the Parks & Recreation schedules. Recent modifications to the schedules have not been effectively communicated, leading to confusion among residents. Official channels, including the city's website and phone communications, need to be updated promptly to keep residents informed.
4. Response to Prime-Time Availability: The city has yet to provide any solutions for the unavailability of spaces during prime time (5:00 PM – 9:30 PM). This lack of response to our concerns is unacceptable and needs immediate attention.
5. Ongoing Issues: This problem has persisted for far too long. Several residents have voiced their concerns at public meetings, yet no actionable solutions have been proposed. We believe it is time for the city to take meaningful steps toward resolving these issues.
   We, the residents of Weston, deserve access to our public sports facilities. We urge the City of Weston to listen to our concerns and take the necessary steps to improve the management and availability of these important community resources.
