The Issue

My journey with the concept of breathing and meditation began with my beloved mother. Her life changed dramatically, becoming more peaceful and focused, when she began practicing these techniques. I firmly believe that this transformation can happen to many others if we make breathing and meditation more easily accessible.

According to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), approximately 18 million U.S. adults use meditation, benefiting from improved mental calming and stress reduction. Studies show that deep breathing exercises can lower blood pressure, promote feelings of calm, and reduce stress (Healthline, 2020). Making such services accessible to everyone can not only transform individual lives but work towards making our society as a whole healthier and more peaceful.

By signing this petition, you are advocating for the provision of easily accessible and affordable programs that teach breathing and meditation techniques at a public level, such as in community centers or schools. This call is personal, inspired by the significant change I've seen in my mother’s life and the potential to positively influence countless others.
