The cruelty to animals has gone on for long enough and is getting worse. Anyone who is cruel to any animal should receive a prison sentence. Dumping animals at the side of the road, in boxes with no food or water causing them to suffer when they could just hand them into the animal centres, RSPCA or Police is not acceptable. If you can no longer care for an animal for what ever reasons hand it over to someone who will take responsibility for it.

I know times are difficult right now in this country but we don't have to abandon our pets so they suffer. Leave them on the door step of a place who will get them help. No one will judge you. It's the kindest thing to do.

In regards to deliberate cruelty to animals and allowing an animal to suffer when there is help then you should receive a prison sentence.

No animal deserves to suffer and I am sick of seeing sites showing abandoned animals that are suffering.

There is always a choice and everyone should do the right thing. 

If you know someone who is struggling to look after their pet or see an animal who needs help step up and get involved even if it's a phone call to the RSPCA to go and investigate who can then offer advice and help.

Some people don't always realise their pets need help and are suffering as a result so that little bit of support can do a lot.
