Build Wildlife Crossings Now

Build Wildlife Crossings Now
The Issue
Please sign this petition to show your support for implementing wildlife crossings in Teton County and all needed locations in the US. Together, we can make a difference and save countless lives.
I support safe highways for the citizens and the wildlife resources.
Dear Teton County Officials and all county officials in states where wildlife and fish need pathways around roadways.
• Please work with Idaho Transportation Department and where needed to ensure that the Teton Pass Corridor Study makes State Highway 33 and others that are needed safe for both motorists and wildlife starting in Teton County, Idaho.
Wildlife crossings with fencing are the most effective method for reducing wildlife-vehicle collisions and supporting wildlife movement and our communities need them NOW.
Having seen too many lives taken in the same places for decades, and knowing our roadways are already being planned for updates, is time to take action on all sides of the Tetons. I am creating this petition as a promise to a mother.
• Please tell Idaho Transportation Department that Teton County, Idaho, needs effective solutions like wildlife crossings with fencing to reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions and support wildlife movement.
Thank you for taking action esteemed Teton County officials - Mayor Will Frohlich (Victor), Council President Amy Ross (Victor), Council member Emily Sustick (Victor), Council member Stacy Hulsing (Victor), Councilmember Sue Muncaster (Victor), Mayor August Christensen (Driggs), Council President Jen Calder (Driggs), Council member Tristan Taylor (Driggs), Council member Miles Knowles (Driggs), Councilmember Allison Michalski (Driggs), Mayor Brent Schindler (Tetonia) - to prioritize the implementation of wildlife crossings in our county.
By taking this crucial step, we can protect our wildlife, preserve the natural balance of our ecosystem and ensure a safer community for both humans and animals. Let us be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves and make Teton County a shining example of responsible coexistence with nature for generations to come.
