Implement Traffic Cameras on School Buses in West Carrollton, OH
The Issue
As a concerned parent, I am deeply worried about the safety of our children while they travel to and from school. It is disheartening to witness reckless drivers blatantly disregarding the red lights on school buses, putting our precious little ones at risk, which happens on an almost daily occurrence for our family. This reckless behavior puts our children's lives at risk and cannot be ignored any longer. Therefore, I have begun this petition to urge others in our community to stand with me to petition the school system to add cameras to the outside of our school buses.
Reasons for Installing Cameras:
1. Deterrence: Studies have shown that installing cameras on school buses significantly reduces instances of illegal passing. When drivers know they are being monitored, they are less likely to break traffic laws and put innocent lives in danger.
