History dictates that we have domesticated them out of privilege, but frankly, some have been abusing this power. Our actions leave innocent creatures to undergo trauma, often associated with the misconceived notion of their 'wild' ancestry. This narrative needs to change.

As per ASPCA, only about 85% of pet cats are spayed or neutered. These unconscionable behaviors must be curbed by implementing stricter laws holding cat owners responsible not only for spaying or neutering their pets but for their overall wellbeing too.

This petition aims to effectuate adequate laws that deem it as animal abuse if cats are not spayed or neutered and are let outside without an owner taking proper responsibility for the animal's safety and wellbeing.
