It is deeply personal and disheartening to see countless posts on social media depicting the horrifying abuse and torture of innocent animals such as dogs, cats, and many other creatures. It is time we take a stand for these voiceless victims who are so often the target of senseless cruelty. The current lack of stringent laws enables perpetrators to repeat their heinous actions without fear of retribution. This must change, and urgently.

We propose the immediate implementation of harsher laws and mandatory sentencing for those who abuse animals, ranging from a minimum of two years up to fifteen years imprisonment. 

 64.5% of animal abuse cases involved dogs, and 18% involved cats. This shocking statistic underscores the urgency of this issue.

This is not solely a plea but a demand for justice for all abused animals who serve as our loyal companions, protect our homes, and imbue our lives with unequivocal love. These cherished beings deserve protection and the assurance that those who harm them will face severe consequences. It's high time that we extend the love and care they unconditionally provide us by ensuring their safety.
