I am personally invested in this cause, as I believe it is time for our country to take a stand. Let's be the first to change the law and show other countries how it's done. We need to put the 'great' back into Great Britain by ensuring that those who harm children face severe consequences.

In recent years, there has been an alarming increase in cases of child abuse and assault. According to NSPCC research, there were over 19,000 offences of sexual grooming recorded by police in England and Wales in 2019/20 - a rise of 20% compared with the previous year (NSPCC). This is unacceptable.

It's time we send a clear message: if you harm a child, you should lose your human rights and spend the rest of your life in prison. By implementing stricter laws for child sex assault offenders, we can provide better protection for our children and deter potential offenders.

We urge lawmakers to review current legislation on child assault offences and consider lifetime imprisonment as an appropriate punishment for these heinous crimes. Let us be remembered as a nation that prioritised its children's safety above all else.

So this subject is something we are going to have to force it threw because we know the government are not guna do it them selfs or they would of done it by now. I still can’t get it how this offence has such little punishment. So please uk let’s unite for the sake of the kids an force this petition threw. 

I was never sexually abused as a kid so I can’t talk from experience but I’m a dad an a grandad an the thought of anything being done to 1 of them pushed me towards trying to make a change to this law so hopefully this will help my family have a safer future as well as yours 

A kid has to live with what for the rest of their life’s an offender will be out after a couple years ready to go a ruin some kids life. Let’s put an end to this so the kids can have a better safer future.
