My name is a representative of Rescue Rebels Inc of Ohio, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting rescues and rescuing puppies from puppy mills for them. Every day, we witness the heartbreaking reality of puppies and their mothers and fathers suffering under the cruel conditions in these facilities. This petition aims to put an end to this cruelty by demanding strict humane policies for dog breeders and SHUTTING DOWN  puppy mills in Northeast and southern , Ohio.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) estimates that there are approximately 10,000 puppy mills in the United States - many of which do not provide adequate care or living conditions for these animals. The lack of regulation allows these establishments to continue operating despite their blatant disregard for animal welfare.

We believe that every animal deserves respect and kindness. Therefore, we are calling on our local government officials to implement stricter regulations on dog breeders and shutting down puppy mills. These should include mandatory regular health checks by certified veterinarians, sufficient living space per animal, proper nutrition provision as well as socialization opportunities with both humans and other dogs.
