As a resident living at the corner of West Berwick and Centre Streets in Southside Easton, I am personally impacted and deeply concerned about the traffic safety in our area. The lack of stop signs at this intersection has resulted in numerous severe accidents. We, our families, our neighbors, are at risk everyday just by stepping out of our homes.

It's time for our voices to be heard and addressed. Road traffic accidents rank as the 9th leading cause of death and account for 2.2% of all deaths globally. I believe our intersection must not contribute to this alarming statistic. I implore our local government to urgently treat this as a matter of public safety and implement stop signs at West Berwick and Centre Streets.
