We have recently lost our beloved cat Toby at the age of 2 because people don't slow down or pay due care and attention to the speed limit, which is 20mph. He died scared and alone because the driver didn't stop. He was chipped and wearing a collar with our details on. A kind delivery driver found him and called us. No one should have to go through this! Other animals have died in the same way on this stretch of road.

The stretch from Talbot roundabout to the cricket club along Wellsway Road in Keynsham, Bristol, UK is notorious for speeding vehicles and poor lighting conditions. These factors contribute not only to animal fatalities but also pose significant risks to pedestrians, cyclists, and other motorists.

We urge local authorities to implement stricter speed restrictions and improve street lighting along this dangerous section of Wellsway Road. By doing so, we can prevent further tragedies like Toby's death from happening again.
