The current situation is the BOE voted to proceed with a turf vendor who does not meet the specs that were presented to this community containing 0 PFAs. Please see this website for the turf status and resources: https://hastingsturffacts.netlify.app/ 

Please write the Dispatch and BOE to ask for the following bullet points (and let me know if you need templates from our team --ariella.gastel@gmail.com). Please also show up for the next BOE meeting, May 5th, https://www.hohschools.org/boe/meeting-schedule to show you care about this issue: 

• Pause/Undo the contract for the turf since the specs were not met
• Delay the bulldozing for the new fields in June as it will be costly to redo once started
• Cast a revote on the turf fields with the updated information.
