Ray, a sufferer of asthma, unexpectedly passed away on February 4th, 2024. Shockingly, just days after his passing, we discovered multiple deliveries of asthma pumps in Ray's name. Upon further investigation, eight different pharmacies were supplying him with these, all without any central record or oversight. This lack of regulation directly contributed to the loss of our loved one.
We plead for your support in implementing 'Ray's Law'. This law aims to 1) Prevent the unregulated sale of asthma pumps online or over the counter, 2) Establish a mandatory record of sales by pharmacies, and 3) Ensure regular checks on asthmatics to confirm their pumps align with their medical needs.
