मी पाषाण परिसराचा रहिवासी आणि भाजप प्रभाग क्र. ९ चा उपाध्यक्ष आहे. आमच्या परिसरातील एक गंभीर आणि दीर्घकालीन समस्या लक्षात आणून देण्यासाठी हे निवेदन करत आहे — ती म्हणजे सार्वजनिक मुताऱ्यांची कमतरता.
ही अडचण केवळ व्यक्तिगत गैरसोयीपुरती मर्यादित नाही. महिलांपासून लहान मुलांपर्यंत, जेष्ठ नागरिकांपासून सामान्य नागरिकांपर्यंत — प्रत्येकाला दररोज या समस्येचा सामना करावा लागतो. मुताऱ्यांच्या अभावामुळे नागरिकांना आरोग्याच्या समस्यांना तोंड द्यावे लागते, आणि बऱ्याच वेळा लाजिरवाण्या परिस्थितीतून जावे लागते. शहरातील जीवनमान सुधारण्यासाठी सार्वजनिक स्वच्छता अत्यावश्यक आहे.
पुणे महानगरपालिकेला नम्र विनंती आहे की त्यांनी तातडीने पाषाण परिसरात प्रत्यक्ष पाहणी करून सार्वजनिक मुताऱ्यांची उभारणी व नियमित देखभाल सुरू करावी. ही सेवा फक्त गरज नसून, नागरिकांचा मूलभूत हक्क आहे.

As a resident and Vice President of BJP Prabhag-9, I constantly find myself in a predicament due to the lack of public toilets in the Pashan area. Aside from personal inconvenience, this predicament affects not only me but also the elderly, young, and women in our locality on a daily basis. The lack of these facilities forces us to seek alternatives, causing discomfort and sometimes health concerns.
In urban spaces like ours, access to sanitation is essential. Notably, the WHO underscores the importance of accessible sanitation facilities as it reduces the risk of multiple diseases like diarrhea (which causes around 525,000 under-five deaths annually) and strengthens the overall community health.
This is a call to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC)—please conduct an on-ground survey in the Pashan area. We need the implementation of public toilets and subsequent maintenance as part of basic community services. Our predicament needs to be treated as a priority. Let's remedy this situation that inconveniences children, men, women, the elderly, and everyone else who calls the Pashan area home.
