I've just spoken with a representative from the MOTI in response to the outpouring of support from the petition - and they have confirmed that they will be implementing North and South bound protected left turn signals at Kilmalu Road, Hutchinson Road and Fisher Road.

There is no current timeline on when construction is set to start, but rest assured I will be updating you all once I catch wind of what's happening. I will not rest. 

It shouldn't have taken this long, and it shouldn't have affected this many lives, but victory has been achieved today. 

Thank you all for sharing the hell out of this petition and all the support we whipped up. From Cowichan Valley News, to Chek News and Victoria Buzz, we certainly made some noise. 

I look forward to these changes happening, as I'm sure you all are as well. Thank you all again.
