I am a resident of the beautiful Savannah neighborhood in Texas. Our community is known for its tranquility and peaceful living. However, the noise pollution from the future FM 1385 expansion will become a significant concern for us all. 

Our request is simple but crucial - we need a noise barrier on the Savannah side of FM 1385 once construction is completed. Other neighborhoods like Glenbrooke, Arrowbrooke and even the Mezzo apartments are getting a noise barrier installed by TXDOT but according to the official plans of TXDOT Savannah is not!!!!!!

Implementing this barrier will not only reduce noise pollution but also protect our community's peace and quiet and safety that we hold dear. We are a pet and kid-friendly neighborhood and this will be an extra layer of protection from the busy street. Future home values might be affected by the lack of a noise barrier as well.

As of now, we are missing the installation of a noise barrier by only a few decibels according to the TXDOT sound study.  We request an additional sound analysis taking into account that the existing trees on the ROW will be taken down once the expansion construction begins.
