The absence of body and dash cameras not only reduces transparency and accountability, but also escalates situations rather than resolving them peacefully.

With such compelling statistics, it is puzzling as to why our local county sheriffs department operate without these crucial tools.

The provision of body and dash cams will enable objective evidence collection, ensure transparency, and protect the rights of both the civilians and law enforcement officers involved.
