Domestic violence affects one in four women and one in nine men in their lifetime. This keeps many of us up at night. Right now, there's no consistent way to track offenders across communities, and that gap leaves survivors and their families vulnerable. I'm calling for mandatory red flag book and registration procedures for domestic violence offenders so law enforcement and support organizations have the information they need to keep people safe. If you care about this issue, here's how you can help: reach out to a domestic violence organization in your state and ask what they need most.
