The current leadership instilled at the school is toxic. The principal and Assistant principal bully the kids into not telling their parents when things happen to them at school and threaten to take away prom and senior trip if parents come up to the school and complain. They have cursed and used profane language towards the students. Students have been attacked on school grounds by other students in front of staff and if they don’t like the student being attacked or if they don’t like the parent of the student being attacked they completely ignore the kid in need and allow them to be attacked. They don’t inform the parents of most of these incidents. Para professionals don’t monitor the children on the playground and have told some children they “won’t deal with them” because they don’t like the parents. Parents aren’t allowed to have one on one meetings with staff members they must instead share their concerns via a group zoom PTA meeting.
