As a parent in Anderson School District 4, I face the daily reality that my child may not be safe in his school.  Though our district does its best to protect our loved ones from those who wish to do them harm, there is no guarantee that our families will come home from school at the end of each day.   It's time to ensure not just quality education, but also secured learning spaces. Therefore, we are advocating to implement the CENTEGIX Safety Platform, especially the CrisisAlert, in all schools within our school district.

The CENTEGIX CrisisAlert will protect teachers and staff during emergencies with its user-friendly wearable panic button. The CENTEGIX Safety platform also would increase the safety of our students with its advanced features like real-time locating capabilities and digital mapping. In the United States, almost 95% of public schools conduct one or more drills on lockdown procedures each year (according to the National Center for Education Statistics). And in 2021/2022,there were 327 school shootings (according to USAFacts.Org). The need for enhanced safety mechanisms like CENTEGIX is paramount. The safety and assurance of our children and educators are not options; they are necessities.
