The Issue

There are kids who have autism and struggle in different aspects of their daily lives. As a member of this community, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges these students face not only in academics, but in social interactions and building friendships. They often miss out on opportunities to connect with their peers, which can make them feel isolated and misunderstood.

To address this, I propose the implementation of a "buddy session" system at, where students without disabilities are paired with those in the special education class. This initiative would foster a nurturing environment where understanding and meaningful connections can flourish. The goal is to create a supportive school culture that embraces diversity and encourages empathy through shared experiences.

According to recent studies, buddy systems have significantly improved social skills and academic outcomes for students with disabilities. By introducing peer support in special education, not only do the students with special needs benefit, but it enriches the lives of all students involved by promoting inclusivity and acceptance.

Let's join together to make a positive change. By signing this petition, you support an inclusive environment where every student is given the opportunity to thrive and be understood. Please sign and help us implement the buddy sessions, making a place where everyone feels valued and supported.
